Community Service

"Your greatness is not what you have.  It’s what you give."
Community service has been part of the Next Level Soccer Academy's mission since our leadership first formalized the club’s philosophy.  As written into our statement of purpose, NLSA is “unique in that it stresses community service and outreach as an integral part of the players’ development as responsible members of the local community and beyond.”  We understand that the ability to play and train at the club level in terms of resources, time, energy, and cost is a gift that our players are fortunate to be able to experience.  As a program, it is important that our players recognize this privilege and respond by giving back to their communities through as many avenues as possible.

This part of our mission has been embraced by the families of our players, allowing our Community Service initiatives to multiply with each passing year.   To maximize these opportunities, NLSA created a Community Service committee represented by team representatives, parents of alumnae, and our soccer players.  This group works with the boys, girls, women and men of our NLSA Family to organize and support our various community service initiatives, locally and internationally.  Each team within the Club has at least one parent volunteer and at least one player representative on the Committee. The Committee meets several times throughout the year.

Past community service projects have included: TOPSoccer, Soccer Uniform drive with collected items donated to players in Trinidad & Tobago, Soccer Cleat & Shinguard drive with collected items donated to players in South America, Soccer Ball drive, with collected items donated to players throughout the world, Souped Bowl of caring with collected food items donated to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, Player volunteers serving meals at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, and many more!
We are tremendously proud of our selfless players for their caring and willingness to support those less fortunate.
