NLSA Youth Development Program (YDP)
The NLSA Youth Development Programs (U7-U10) is the foundation stage of the NLSA Player Development Pyramid. As soccer enthusiasts, our mission is to provide age-appropriate training in a positive, fun, and encouraging environment to youth who are interested in developing their soccer skills, technique, and tactics.
It is our goal to develop your player’s soccer ability while teaching them what it means to be part of the “soccer culture”. Respect for the game, respect for others, always improving, and giving back to the community,
Using U.S. Soccer and United Soccer Coaches coaching methods, we focus on the 4 pillars of player development - technical, tactical, physical, and psychological growth. Our curriculum takes a foundational approach, with progressive skill advancement and knowledge building.
The program is designed as supplemental to your player's current recreation or travel soccer team.
The Fall & Spring training sessions will occur on Mondays and Fridays and will not conflict with weekend games.
The Winter training sessions will occur on Mondays at PEACTurf, from 5:00-6:00pm.
For the upcoming Fall 2019 through Spring 2020 soccer season, the program is for boys & girls born between 2010 and 2013.
