Next Level Soccer Academy (NLSA) is excited to announce the addition of Chris Edelschein to its full-time coaching staff for the 2019/2020 season, coaching one of our teams on the boys side of the club. Chris played at both Rutgers-Camden University and Montclair State University. He finished his senior season at Rutgers-Camden with plenty of accolades, as he captained the team to a #5 national ranking and an Elite Eight run in the Division III NCAA Tournament in 2011. After graduating, Chris headed to Misecordia University, where he was an assistant coach for two years while gaining his Masters degree. He returned to his alma mater, where he joined the staff as an assistant coach and the team went 30-16-3 during his tenure on the staff. Last but not least, Chris has been a staff coach for two highly respected clubs in REAL NJ and Harleysville during his years after graduating. His high level knowledge of the game has translated into his successful coaching career, and NLSA is excited to have him join us in our period of club growth!

“One thing we continue to strive for is to provide our staff with the coaching education tools to continue to further enhance their knowledge, their passion, and their coaching toolkit. The other thing we continue to strive for is to grow our already tremendous and dedicated coaching staff, with coaches that fit our motto, “Where every player matters, player development is the focus, and club/team culture is a priority.” Having played against Chris in college and watching him grow his professional career on and off the field, this hire was a no brainer for NLSA. We continue to add to our excellent staff and we’re looking forward to getting Chris involved as soon as possible.”- NLSA Director of Coaching, Brian Thomsen
