Ron Stinson joined the NLSA coaching staff in January 2019.  Ron has been involved with soccer for 40 years, either as a player, referee, trainer or coach.  After his high school career, Ron attended college at Kutztown University, where he opted to play rugby for the Kutztown Golden Bears instead of soccer.  Upon graduating college, Ron continued to stay involved with soccer and eventually started coaching, training, and refereeing in the New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania area.

Ron has been involved with youth sports for over 20 years.  In addition to training and coaching soccer, Ron has been training athletes for 30 years; including personal training, sport specific training, and running form.  Ron is also a level 1 Cross-Fit certified instructor, and a certified physical training instructor with the New Jersey Police Training Commission for police recruits.  Ron currently coaches and trains several travel soccer teams in the Mercer County area.  In the past year those teams have been very successful in league and tournament play, winning the Gettysburg Blue/Gray Cup, the EDP Easter Showcase, the FC Europa Turf Cup, the EDP Cup Spring Showcase, and the Baltimore Mania Tournament.  Ron currently has his coaching F License.
