The NLSA Youth Development Program (U7-U10) is the foundation stage of the NLSA Player Development Pyramid. As soccer enthusiasts, our mission is to provide age-appropriate training in a positive, fun and encouraging environment to youth who are interested in developing their soccer skills, technique and tactics.

It is our goal to develop your player’s soccer ability while teaching them what it means to be part of the “soccer culture,” including respect for the game, respect for others, always improving, and giving back to the community.

Using U.S. Soccer and United Soccer Coaches coaching methods we focus on the 4 pillars of player development - technical, tactical, physical, and psychological growth. Our curriculum takes a foundational approach, with progressive skill advancement and knowledge building.

The program is designed to be supplemental to your player's current recreation or travel soccer team.

2013s & 2014 Birth Years

In addition to the weekly training sessions, this group will participate in the Penn/NJ 4v4 Festival events. The Festivals are held on weekends and provide the players an opportunity to transition what they’ve learned during trainings to a match environment.

2011s & 2012 Birth Years

The focus for this group is on tactical and technical play progression. The training will work to develop their individual capability to be impactful on their current teams, while preparing them to compete in their match-day environment.
